now onto the film...

As you may or may not know, I'm super into photography and editing, and I've been wanting to get more into videography.

I love using my film camera to take pictures since it's a more complex, and more difficult than just pulling out your phone and pressing a button.

Today I'm going to show you the basic things you should know about film cameras and photography.

First of all, make sure you know the basics of your camera. Each brand of film cameras work differently, so you might want to do some research before using your first roll of film.

Film is also an important thing you should be aware of. Different film brands, and  kinds can also vary, and if you don't know how to use it correctly you could waste film.

My camera is a Pentax K1000, and I usually use Fuji 800 film.

Enough about film from cameras, more about short films.

As I said earlier, I've been wanting to get into videography for quite some time now. I've written down some ideas of my own about what I'd want my film to be about, but I'd love to know what other people would want to see. I can't do this all on my own, so if you'd be interested in filming, acting, or have any ideas for any part of a possible project be sure to hit me up! You can reach me at or direct message me on instagram @mialorelei.

Like always, I hope you've had a great week! Stay tuned for more for on Mia Lorelei Mag.
